The
Travel Eyes 2 is not only easy to use it is a breeze
to install. it is as easy as hooking up a VCR and
can be done in minutes. There are two basic ways
to install the TravelEyes 2, covertly and overtly.
Either method is great for personal GPS tracking.
Covert
Tracking and Hidden From View
Those who choose the covert tracking method can
attach the unit directly to any 12 Volt power supply,
the battery or, better yet, inside the vehicle to
the fuse box using the optional direct-connect wiring
harness. Hidden under the dash the TravelEyes 2
will remain concealed
from sight, watching what you cannot and recording
a vehicles every movement. Check with laws in your
area to determine if concealment in a vehicle is
allowed. Omni GPS takes no responsibility for the
TravelEyes 2 being used outside the parameters of
state and federal laws.
Overt
and in Plain Sight
For those that prefer the overt method for personal
tracking, the Travel Eyes 2 plugs directly in to
the cigarette
lighter. Just plug it in like a cell phone and it
is ready to go, the Travel Eyes 2 takes care of
the rest. To retrieve the data simply unplug the
unit from the car and attach it to your PC.
Downloading
Data Into Computer
Once you take your Travel Eyes 2 unit out of the
vehicle downloading to your PC is a snap.
Simply install the Travel Eyes 2 mapping software,
connect the AC cord to the TravelEyes2, plug in
your serial port cable to your PC, and attach
the Travel Eyes 2 to the serial cable connector
and you're ready to go!
